若干年後，成都市的“二十四城”將會是中產者的居所，相信很少人會記起該處其實是一間國營軍工廠 ------ 420廠的地皮。現時，香港年輕一輩也許不曉得黃埔花園、太古城都曾經是黃埔船塢、太古船塢所在地。今時今日，這些工人去了哪裡？太古船塢一度是香港工運的發源地，工人曾經反抗不公平的對待而罷工，亦是香港華人機器總工會（最早的工會）的誕生地。
